Amy Bakkum
Office Administrator
Amy Bakkum joined RPBCWD in 2019 as an AmeriCorp member specializing in environmental education prior to her current position. She is responsible for the monthly financials and assists the District Administrator, and provides general office support. She acts as a point of contact for vendors, consultants, and the general public. She has a bachelor's degree from the University of Minnesota in Jewish Studies and is currently earning her J.D. at Mitchell Hamline School of Law.
Amy's favorite part of her job is getting to know all the people we work with and being able to see the vast network of folks that we rely on to do our work. It is truly a team effort. Her favorite spot in the district is the Purgatory Creek Rec Area because it is a great place to observe wildlife and take an easy hike along the trail. In her free time, Amy enjoys backpacking and hammock camping in our great MN state parks and along the Superior Hiking Trail.
