Governance Committee
The Governance Committee is a standing committee of the Board of Managers and consists of two managers with support from the district administrator and legal counsel.
The committee reviews the Governance Manual and makes recommendations to the Board of Managers. All meetings of the committee are noticed and open to the public as required by the Open Meeting Law. The committee meets every third Friday of the month at the RPBCWD office.

April 29, 2024 Special Joint Committee Meeting
The Riley Purgatory Bluff Creek Watershed District Board of Managers' audit and finance and governance committees will conduct a special joint meeting April 29th at 1:30pm at the RPBCWD office: 18681 Lake Dr E, Chanhassen MN 55317.

RPBCWD will conduct its April 29, 2024, joint committee meeting at 18681 Lake Drive East in Chanhassen, MN beginning at 1:30pm. Pursuant to Minnesota Statutes §13D.021, subdivision 1, and a declaration by the Board President, this meeting is to be held in person and public while recognizing that a Manager may, based on advice from a healthcare professional, have a legitimate reason for not attending a meeting in a public place in person, such as COVID-19 exposure or infection, and in such circumstances may participate in the meeting remotely. Governance Manual
The RPBCWD Governance Manual was adopted by the Board of Managers on July 2, 2014, amended February 4, 2015, and amended again on October 14, 2020.
The manual consists of policies and protocols adopted by the District including:
