RPBCWD Launches Passport Adventure

Posted: 9/29/23

Come Explore With Us!

The watershed district encompasses three creeks: Riley, Purgatory, and Bluff creeks. As they wind their way toward the Minnesota River, these creeks pass through multiple wetlands and lakes. These waterbodies offer many opportunities to hike, boat, fish, watch wildlife, and more! During the month of October, get out and explore a few of our favorite spots in the Riley Purgatory Bluff Creek Watershed District with the RPBCWD Passport Adventure.

How to Participate

  1. Download the Adventure Passport or pick up a printed copy at our office.

  2. Visit the passport sites October 1st through 31stSee "Passport Locations" below for clickable links to passport sites; the digital version of the passport also has addresses you can tap to open a map.

  3. At each location, find the QR code (look for a 2x4-inch white label with the watershed district logo).

  4. Scan the QR code with your smartphone camera. To do this, open your camera and hover over the QR code (you don't need to take a photo). When the text "flowcode.com" pops up over the image, tap this text to open up the linked passport phrase webpage. When the webpage opens, write down the passport phrase.

  5. Once you have visited all six locations and collected the passport phrases, claim your prize pack at the RPBCWD office. (Limited to first 50 people. One prize pack per household.)

No printer? Unable to pick up a printed passport? No worries! The digital version of the passport is a fillable PDF form, or you can simply keep a list of the passport phrases to give to us.

DON'T WAIT! THE PASSPORT ADVENTURE ENDS OCTOBER 31ST!
